Educational Qualification
- A Post Graduate Degree in the respective subject from a university established by law in India or a qualification recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto.

- Pay Scale: Pay Level-8 (₹47600 - ₹151100).
Selection Process
Screening Test & Interview
- If a large number of applications are received, a screening test (Written Exam) will be conducted to shortlist candidates for the interview. The marks from this screening test will not be added to the final merit.
- If a written exam is part of the main selection process, the final merit will be based on the marks obtained in the written exam and the interview.
- For some posts, selection may be based on the interview only.

- Specific knowledge regarding Education, Culture, Agriculture, Industry Trade, Living & Social Traditions of Uttar Pradesh
- Elementary Mathematics up to 8th level
- Ecology and Environment
Part 2: Optional Subject
- The syllabus for the optional subjects (like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths, English, Hindi, History, Geography, Economics, Sociology, etc.) will be based on the main examination syllabus for that respective subject as prescribed by the commission.
Selection Process

- If a large number of applications are received, a screening test (Written Exam) will be conducted to shortlist candidates for the interview. The marks from this screening test will not be added to the final merit.

How to Apply (Online + Hardcopy Submission)
- Step 1 (OTR): It is mandatory to complete the One Time Registration (O.T.R.) on the UPPSC website `https://otr.pariksha.nic.in` at least 72 hours before applying.
- Step 2 (Online Application): Apply online through the commission's website `https://uppsc.up.nic.in` using your O.T.R. number.
- Fill the application, pay the fee online, and submit the form.
- Step 3 (Send Hardcopy): Take a printout of the finally submitted online application. Attach self-attested copies of all required certificates and mark sheets.
- Send this complete set in an envelope by Speed Post or Registered Post to the commission's office in Prayagraj before the last date.

1. Is One Time Registration (O.T.R.) mandatory for this recruitment?
Yes, O.T.R. is absolutely mandatory. You must obtain an O.T.R. number at least 72 hours before you submit your online application for the post.
2. Do I need to send the application form by post?
Yes, for this recruitment, after submitting the application online, you must send a hard copy (printout) of the application form along with self-attested copies of all your documents to the UPPSC office by the specified last date.
3. Will there be a written exam for the Lecturer post?

4. I am not from Uttar Pradesh. Can I apply for these posts?
Yes, you can apply. However, you will not be eligible for any reservation benefits. Candidates from other states are treated as General (Unreserved) category.
5. What is the age limit for the Lecturer post?
Candidates must be between 21 and 40 years of age as of July 1, 2025. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories of Uttar Pradesh.
6. Can I make corrections to my application after submitting it?
